African Reflections was started with a belief that together, we can make a difference. We want you to know that you are a part of this dream. The dream that one day we can alleviate the poverty in Africa, uplift and empower the disenfranchised, and raise the standard of living of the people in Africa. Your contributions are helping make this dream a reality. I come from a family with a history of philanthropic activities around the world and this has taught me that one of the most important aspects of life is giving. With African Reflections Foundation, it is more than just humanitarian aid; it is a partnership between the people in North America and that in need in Africa. We offer our aid through the products available in our store. We have created economic stability in areas where this has never existed. The work done by African Reflections Foundation in Africa is executed by locals, as it is our belief that we can empower those who possess the appropriate skills by employing them, thereby creating a stable income for themselves and their families, which is otherwise rare or difficult to maintain. It is our hope to spread our mission to ensure that our efforts reach and help the maximum amount of people. We believe that to alleviate the poverty so widespread across the continent, it has to start from within through educating the younger generations. Therefore, we help develop grassroots educational institutions by purchasing desks for children in schools. African Reflections Foundation focuses on one key principle – to make the lives of others easier. We do this by building wells in areas where water is so scarce that it takes women days to collect water for the family. Their health and safety are compromised as a result of the inaccessible infrastructure. African Reflections Foundation is committed to easing the difficulties faced by these circumstances. Every ounce of support is weighted and felt directly by the people in Africa.
