you as soon as information becomes available.

Why visit Tanzania?

 • To learn how African Reflections Foundation is helping women entrepreneurs in

the struggle to make a living by starting farming projects.

 • To understand the way of  African life in the underdeveloped rural villages where

much of ARF work is focused.

 • To witness the exciting projects from funds raised in the United States.

 • To learn about the everyday life of rural communities.

Thoughts from past delegates:

"When I went to build my own well in Mkuranga village, in Tanzania it was encouraging

to see how the rural people who are left out from society have the urge to change their

own lives for a better tomorrow”.  It was wonderful to be able to visit how African

Reflections Foudation is making a difference, projects that really work. "

-Dale Davidson, Albany, New York

" Experiencing how the people, especially the women, who are part of the ARF projects,

have been trained to start a new wave for their moral, and how financially responsible

for their own lives is clearly a sign of HOPE for their future."

- Jean Dobbs, Albany, New York

ARF News - The Basic Necessities: Water, Toilets, Privacy
ImageBasic for you, yes? Well, not for many young ladies in the rural villages of Africa. The toilets are open and almost public. No doors, no privacy and no washing facilities of any kind. At the Mkokozi School, population 624, there are two latrines. Over at the edge of the school yard is a cement structure with two rooms or stalls divided by a crumbling wall. In the middle of each of these two stalls is a hole in the floor.
